Contract Management Self-Assessment
The Contract Management Self-Assessment is an online questionnaire
designed to explore the capability required to perform
commercial contract management.
What is it?
Based on your responses to 72 questions, across the 8 categories of contract management, a profile of your capability will be built and recommendations for future development will be made.
The 8 dimensions are:
Planning and Governance
- Measuring Performance
- Building relationships
- Reviewing Performance
- Sponsor Improvement
- Administer Contract
- Managing Risk
- Commercial Risk
Within the assessment, competencies in Contract Management and Leadership are explored.
What happens when I finish?
On completion you will receive an individual report with an assessment of your capability across the range of commercial contract management competencies. The report will highlight each phase of the process focusing on your strengths and your evolving skill-sets.
The key output is a set of recommendations for you to consider. These recommendations are based on the 70-20-10 model of learning.
Your Contract Management Self-Assessment Report
The aim of your individual report is to provide you with a systematic insight of your skill-set as it stands today, along with ideas for you to apply 70-20-10 learning principles in your workplace.
The 70-20-10 learning model suggests 70% of development consist of on-the-job learning, supported by 20% coaching and/or mentoring and, 10% classroom based training.
Your report contains suggestions for each of these learning principles. You will also receive a personalised e-Learning Plan and high priority training workshop recommendations. The 70-20-10 model’s three components reinforce one another, adding up to a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
As you work through the questionnaire you may find themes that are not directly relevant to your current role. This is likely to happen for many people as this questionnaire considers the end-to-end commercial contract management process.
With this questionnaire there are no incorrect answers!
